Find Dream Clients That Want to Work With You

Many entrepreneurs find it difficult to find the right clients who are passionate about their services and willing to pay for them. In this post, we will discuss 4 steps that you can take to start attracting your ideal clients and building a successful business.

Step #1: Get Clear About Who You Want To Work With

The first step in finding your ideal clients is to get a clear understanding of who they are.

Seems pretty straightforward, right?

When it comes to getting clear on who they want to work with, business owners seem to really struggle and end up attracting no people or the entirely wrong type of people.

We don’t waste our time with people who aren’t a fit, so you need to figure out EXACTLY who you are serving in your business.

Let’s create an ideal customer avatar, which is a detailed description of your ideal client. Here is a process you can follow to determine yours!

Start with some research. Learn everything you can about your dream clients. Write down everything you can about them so that you know without a doubt who it is you want to serve and also who you do not want to serve (that’s just as important!)

 Step #2: Get In Front Of Your Ideal Customers

The next step is to become visible to your ideal clients.

This means finding out where they hang out online and offline and showing up there with your expertise. This could be through creating content for their preferred platforms, or by showcasing your expertise in your niche or industry.

Don’t waste time on platforms or going to networking events that your ideal clients aren’t interested in. That’s a surefire way to set yourself for attracting the wrong type of people.

The content you create should be catered to and speak directly to your dream clients.

When you put yourself in the right places and show up as an authority, you'll start seeing better results with your business. 

Also, don't forget to strategically showcase your expertise so that your audience knows they can come to you for help.

 Step #3: Build And Nurture Relationships With Your Dream Clients

Once you are clear about who you are talking to and where to find them, it's time to start building relationships.

This can be done through creating useful content, holding live Q&A sessions, or replying to comments and messages.

Make sure you are showing up consistently, serving your clients, and providing value, and that you are using social proof to showcase your results to establish trust and authority with your audience. You need to post content and show up in a way that both nurtures AND activates your audience.

Building trust with your ideal clients will make them more likely to buy from you in the future.

When you show up for your audience in a way that’s focused around them (not you), they will feel like you care about them and connections will start forming.  

Step #4: Present The Offer They Can't Resist

The last step in attracting your ideal clients would be to present them with an irresistible offer- a no-brainer that solves a pain point your dream clients are experiencing.

Let me tell you how you can do that:

Now that you know your Ideal Customer Avatar, you know exactly who you're talking to, right? You know what they like. You know what they struggle with. You know how they feel. You know what they desire. 

Because you know all these things, it becomes very easy for you to look at your existing offers, cater, and adjust them or create new ones that help your ideal clients with their specific struggles. Before you were clear about who your ideal client was, you had offers that served the generic audience, right?

Your offers were helpful, but they were not aimed at anyone specific, so you were probably attracting the wrong type of person with your content AND your offer. But now that you know very well the person who is struggling and why they're struggling, you can use this information to create an offer that's perfect for that person.

After all, you have to SHOW your ideal client why they should choose you over someone else in your industry, which means creating content and speaking directly to them, showing you are trustworthy and can produce results, and positioning your messaging and offers in a way that rings true with your dream clients specifically.

You can now tailor your offer to the smallest details to appeal to and activate your ideal clients.

Once you do all that, you’ll be set up for success. You’ll have your ideal clients showing up to work with you for YOU, and you won't have to deal with people who are just looking for the cheapest deal or who aren’t a great fit,

Final Thoughts

You see, everything starts falling into place once you know your ideal client inside and out and you know how to communicate with them and show up for them.

When you have to work with people you don't like and hustle working for yourself, it's a recipe for disaster. You won't be showing up 100 % and doing your best job, and you'll burn out in the end.

But when you're crystal clear on who you want to serve, how you’re going to serve them, and how to communicate the value and impact of your offer, everything will fall in line and be much more enjoyable!

Attracting your ideal clients takes time and effort, but by following these steps, you will be on your way to building a successful business that you are passionate about.
